This identity theft monitoring and resolution service1 gives you everything you need to safeguard your identity, monitor your identity and recover your identity until it is completely restored should you become a victim. IDProtect® is just one of the many benefits of our Debit/Checking accounts.

It’s an unfortunate reality that becoming a victim of identity fraud is a frightening, frustrating experience that can happen to anyone at anytime. Keeping your personal information secure and protecting you and your account from identity fraud are important to us. IDProtect® will work on members’ behalf in three key ways. Take special note of the areas that will require you to register and activate your service to receive full advantage of the ID Protection:

Get advice on ways to protect yourself from identity theft, find education tips and access valuable online resources.

Credit File Monitoring 2 – daily credit file monitoring and automated alerts of key changes to your Experian, TransUnion and Equifax credit reports (Registration/activation required; no extra charge)

3-in-1 Credit Report – request a new 3-in-1 report every 90 days or upon receipt of a credit alert (Registration/activation required; no extra charge)

Total Identity Monitoring – monitoring of over 1,000 databases (registration/activation may be required)

Credit Score – receive a new single bureau credit score with every new credit report Credit Score is a VantageScore 3.0 based on Equifax data. Third parties may use a different VantageScore or a different type of credit score to assess your creditworthiness (registration/activation required)

Debit and Credit Card Registration – register your credit, debit and ATM cards and have peace of mind knowing you can call one toll-free number to cancel and request replacement cards should your cards become lost or stolen (Registration/activation required; no extra charge)

Fully Managed Identity Theft Resolution Service – access to dedicated consumer fraud specialist, assigned specifically to your case, who will work with you until your identity is completely restored.

Identity Fraud Expense Reimbursement Coverage 3– to cover expenses associated with restoring your identity, such as reimbursement for costs associated with attorney fees, loan applications fees, long distance calls, certified mail and notarized fraud documents, medical record costs, costs for daycare and elder care, travel and accommodations, as well as coverage for wages lost for time taken off work to correct personal records.

IDProtect is being provided as an added value service with your Debit/Checking account. Take advantage of ALL the benefits by registering your account for IDProtect’s additional services NOW at and use the access code provided to you when you opened your MCFCU checking account. 1 IDProtect is a personal identity theft protection service available to personal checking account owner(s), and their joint account owners. The service is available to non-publicly traded businesses and their business owner(s) listed on the account (service not available to employees or authorized signers who are not owners).Service is not available to a “signer” on the account who is not an account owner. Service is not available to clubs, organizations and/or churches and their members, schools and their employees/students. For revocable grantor trusts, the service is available only when a grantor is serving as a trustee and covers the grantor trustee(s). For all other fiduciary accounts, the service covers the beneficiary, who must be the primary member (Fiduciary is not covered).
