Show and Tell “Capture the Good” Photo Contest 2015

Welcome to Madison County Federal Credit Union’s Show and Tell Photo Contest – the contest that asks you to help us “capture the good” that has come to your life from being a member of Madison County Federal Credit Union.

So whether you’ve been a member for 20 years and have photos of yourself with your first piggy bank that you brought into the credit union to open your first savings account, standing by the first car you bought with an auto loan from us, pictures of your wedding day made possible with one of our wedding accounts and VISA credit card, or you’re a newer member who loves the simplicity and benefits that online banking, IDProtect and your debit card bring to your daily life – whatever it may be, we would love for you to share your story and pictures with us. Oh, and did we mention you or a charity of your choice could win $250*?!

The Details and Directions
• The Photo Contest is Madison County Federal Credit Union’s way of getting to know our members better and how their lives have been positively affected by their relationship with us

• The images and stories collected will be used for branding, marketing and advertising purposes for the credit union (see The Disclosure information below for permission and other pertinent information)

• *Up to Four (4) member winners will be chosen from the Photo entries. One winner will be chosen by votes cast in the online photo pool. The remainder of the winners will be chosen by representatives from Madison County Federal Credit Union (MCFCU) Each will be awarded with their choice of a $250 VISA Gift Card or a $250 monetary donation to the non-profit/charity of their choice. If $250 VISA is chosen, it is considered taxable income and a 1099 will be generated/reported to IRS as per applicable regulations.

• All entries will be reviewed and judged by designated MCFCU persons only

• Entries will be judged on such things as creativity, detail, storyline, etc.

• Important Note: Please take your privacy and other’s into consideration. Do not show such things as your personal/account information or number(s) (example: your credit or debit card account numbers).

The Rules and Disclosures
• The Madison County Federal Credit Union “Show and Tell” Photo Contest runs from May 11 – June 15, 2015

• All entries are due to MCFCU no later than 11:59PM (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, June 15, 2015. Any entries received after this date and time will not be eligible to win the Contest awards, but will be kept by the credit union and may be used in the future.

• Only existing credit union members in good standing may enter

• Current and past MCFCU employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

Details, Direction, Rules, and Disclosures
• All entries must be submitted either electronically through our online contest page or via an email with attachments to showandtell@madcofcu.org(should your file size be larger than 3 MB, you can use online file-sizing and sending options such as www.yousendit.com to ensure your entry gets to us), or dropped off at one of our branch locations.

• Photos must be submitted in a jpeg format. The preferred image size is 3×5 inches at 300ppi (pixels per inch). Images less than 150ppi are not eligible. Saving or submitting each photo with a brief caption is recommended

• Stories and explanations of what’s in the photos must be submitted through the online contest page, within a text document or within the body of an email.

• Any images submitted of people under the age of 18 must have a permission statement by a parent or guardian stating they authorize MCFCU to view and possibly use the image(s). The permission statement must be in writing within a text document or the body of the email. For example: “I, Joe Smith, father of Samantha Smith shown in the pictures I’m submitting, allow Madison County Federal Credit Union to view and possibly use her image for branding, marketing and advertising efforts.”

• Please Note: Even though you are entering the Madison County Federal Credit Union Show and Tell Photo Contest, MCFCU will never sell or share your image(s) or stories with any unauthorized outside parties or companies. All stories, photos and video received will be kept by MCFCU. By submitting a story, photo(s) you give consent for MCFCU to use these in future marketing efforts. These could include posters, billboards, YouTube videos, Facebook, statement inserts, website ads and radio or television commercials, among other things.
