How it Works

Once enrolled, every purchase you make with your MCFCU debit card will be rounded up to the next dollar and the difference will be deposited into a savings account of your choice. Whether it’s your special savings, ultra savings, vacation savings or even another account held by a family member, it is up to you.

Rest easy knowing that all of your purchases will still show up on your statement as they always have. All of your Round-Up’s will be added together and will be transferred as a single amount at the end of each day. Also, the Round-Up’s will only be transferred if the funds are available, a Round-up transfer will never overdraw your account.

An Example

You make purchases at the grocery store for $41.20, at the shopping mall for $25.60 and at a restaurant for $15.03. Your spouse then uses their debit card to treat you to a movie for $20.25 and another $35.75 for popcorn and a bottle of water. At the end of the day, $3.17 ($.80 + $.40 + $.97 + $.75 + $.25 = $3.17) is transferred to your savings account! It’s that easy.
