Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a new safety feature coming to It’s Me 247! MFA adds an additional layer of security to your online banking to help keep fraudsters out of your account.

MFA works by sending you a one-time code in a text message or an email using a phone number or email address on file at MCFCU. This one-time code will provide an extra layer of protection beyond your username, password and security questions. This update will go live on February 5th, 2025.

Remember to never give your MFA code to anyone else. MCFCU will never ask you for this code.

You can prepare now by updating your phone numbers and email address on file for your membership. Outdated phone numbers (land lines) or email address could hinder your ability to access your accounts online.

*You may want to consider adding phone numbers for all joint owners who access your membership online.

How to verify or update your contact information in the web version of It’s Me 247:

• Login to your account
• Click your name in the upper right hand corner
• Click “Personal Info & Settings”
• Click “Personal Information”
• Authenticate your access by using a code. MFA for this feature is already in use.
• Verify your info. If it is necessary to update, click the “Edit Personal Information” button
• You can edit up to 3 phone numbers and 1 email address on your own. If more numbers are necessary, please use the Update Button. Only 1 email address is allowed.
